Grid Risk Calculator

A grid's risk is decided by its last levels, not its first. Enter a starting lot, a multiplier, the spacing and your account, and see the whole ladder: how much is open at each level, what the basket has lost by the time each one opens, which levels your margin can actually carry, and how far gold has to move before your own limit — or the broker's stop-out — ends it.

What this does not include. Spread, commission, swap and slippage are ignored, and margin is held at the entry price — so every loss here is a floor, not a ceiling. It models one basket in one direction with 100 oz per lot ($1 per 0.01 lot per $1 move); check your broker's contract size and stop-out level. It is arithmetic about exposure, not a forecast and not advice.

Educational tool, not financial advice. Trading gold and other leveraged products carries a high level of risk, including the possible loss of some or all of your capital. Automated strategies do not guarantee profit, and past or simulated performance is not indicative of future results. Risk disclosure.
